Perfect
As with most everything Leica, the 1.4x magnifier is perfect. I highly recommend it for use with any lens 50mm and higher. With a 50mm lens, the 1.4x puts the frame lens just within view, essentially telling you that what you see is what you'll get on your image. There is definitely value in occasionally being able to see outside the frame lines so I can't say I'll use this 100% with a 50mm or above but this is a great add-on if you're shooting wide open and finding perfect focus is critical.
