This product is amazing!Easy installation!!Crazy accurate!!!You'll wish you had one on every pistol if you don't already.Bulls eye at 45' dead center 1st try of product at Shoot Smart indoor range Fort Worth, TX. Friends thought it was a luck shot, 4 more times in a row shut them up.I now have over 500 rounds through the pistol without a problem for either FMJ or Hollow Point - Carbon 115 DPX, or the laser.Cleaning is a breeze. Need to make sure Plastic end-cap is turned correctly on assembly - this is the cause of most issues. The instructions are specific and the end-cap can't be turned at any other angle, even slightly.

Does the job!!
This laser works great with my XDM (9mm 4.5"). Pretty easy to assemble, except for the spring. The spring seemed longer than it should have been and I was concerned about the durability of the plastic battery cap. I called Lasermax and they said that was the correct length of the spring and they get a lot of calls about it. They told me the cap would hold up fine and the pressure was on the spring after reassembling the gun, not the cap. It looks like there is a good amount of pressure on the cap when the slide is off, but I am not sure of the pressure amount after it's closed up. So I will take their word for it. They added if I had any trouble they would replace it. I have shot over 150 round and had no jams or issues. Accuracy is fine and I love the internal design.The long spring makes it a struggle to place after cleaning the gun. Therefore, I give it a 4 star instead of a 5.

Excellent...
I purchased the laser for my 9mm sub compact- excellent turnaround, delivery and packaging.Fitting the laser was a breeze- simple field strip of the gun, replacement of the delock pin and add the replacement recoil spring (with batteries and the laser). The laser point matches the metal sights to the mark at 25ft...and this is a 6-o-clock sighted gun. It is housed inside the barrel so fitting it into various holsters (and the laser being activated) need not worry you!!My ONLY negative (if there can be one) is that the replacement assembly is about 0.5mm too small- when stripping the slide, the spring almost "falls" out of the housing when removed from the stock...but this is a MINOR gripe!Excellent product!

Great product...somewhat overpriced.
Would be 5 stars if priced lower. Worked perfectly for my Springfield XD 40 sub compact. But at about 70% of the price of another semi automatic pistol, you will want to weigh the benefit. What I like is that you can turn it on and off with a latch that comes with it and replaces the unlock mechanism that you push up to take the weapon apart. Also, when the rounds are expended and the weapon is locked open, the light turns off to save battery power. The battery pack is a little overpriced as well, but you will want at least one extra. What I LOVE about it is that under any circumstance I can aim and get very good accuracy without having to look down the sites. It is very accurate even at 50 feet. For night, blurred vision, single handed shooting, it works great.

Product was a little flimsy but worked as described on line. The off and on switch took a little getting used too, but the functionality worked. The product deliveries a hidden laser sight within the pistol itself - pretty ingenious method.

Good Laser
This laser truely does work well, it is extremely bright and fairly easy to zero in. It looks great on the gun and is sure to impress anyone who sees it. But the laser does travel slightly after shooting it for a bit (although I use mine on an XD 45, the laser may handle smaller calibers better)this does not really matter if your aiming for a relativley large target, but certainly makes you lose precision. The bottom line is that I do love this laser, but its high cost and laser travel make it absolutely unnecessary. If you feel the need to buy a laser and have the money to blow then this is the laser to buy. Otherwise save your money and spend it on ammo, heck you could almost buy another gun for the $230+ price tag.
